TNT’s The Lazarus Project season two trailer shows the world’s in jeopardy and George has to figure out what/who he’s fighting for. The trailer also warns that the only way forward is back. Sounds incredibly ominous when you throw in the creation of a time machine.
Season two stars Emmy and BAFTA nominee Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You), Anjli Mohindra (Bodyguard), Tom Burke (Strike), Caroline Quentin (Bridgerton), Rudi Dharmalingam (Wakefield), and Charly Clive (Pure). Julian Murphy, Johnny Capps, Joe Barton, and Sky Studios’ Paul Gilbert executive produce.
“In the new season, resolute Lazarus agent George (Essiedu) has been left in disgrace after betraying the organization in the name of love. He is determined to redeem himself and win back the trust of his friends, colleagues, and the love of his life,” reads TNT’s synopsis. “But when he discovers that the cause he is fighting for is more sinister than it appears, George suspects that the only person he can really trust is himself.”
Season two premieres on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 9pm ET/PT.
