Season three episode six of The CW’s Legends of Tomorrow pulled a Freaky Friday on Professor Stein and Jax. The two swapped bodies which provided an opportunity for Victor Garber and Franz Drameh to have a little fun at each other’s expense. Episode six also found the Legends heading to old Hollywood to retrieve Helen of Troy and by the end of the episode, the team had helped launch inventor/actress Hedy Lamarr’s career.
There was an added geek-out moment of Helen of Troy’s surprise relocation to Themyscira, instead of being sent back to her homeland. Wonder Woman fans know that’s where the Amazons live, and the Helen of Troy scene marked the first major reference to Wonder Woman in the Arrowverse.
Up next, season three episode seven titled “Welcome to the Jungle” featuring Grodd. Directed by Mairzee Almas from a script by Ray Utarnachitt and Tyron B. Carter, episode seven airs on November 21, 2017.
The season three cast includes Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/Atom, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Franz Drameh as Jefferson “Jax” Jackson/Half of Firestorm, Victor Garber as Professor Stein/Half of Firestorm, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Nick Zano as Dr. Nate Heywood/Steel, Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen, and Tala Ashe as Zari Tomaz.
The “Welcome to the Jungle” Plot: HEALING FROM THE PAST — With Sara (Lotz) out of commission, the team finds a new Anachronism that leads them to the jungles of Vietnam and right in the middle of the war. Ray (Routh), Amaya (Richardson-Sellers) and Zari (Ashe) pose as journalists and trek through the jungle when they are lead to time-displaced Gorilla Grodd. Meanwhile, Nate (Zano) and Rory (Purcell) run into someone Rory knows which gives a glimpse into his past.
