Little House on the Prairie Reboot Unveils a Teaser and Poster

Netflix’s one-minute teaser for the reboot of Little House on the Prairie shows the Ingalls family making the journey from the Wisconsin woods to the titular location. The family-friendly series, based on the beloved classic novel by Laura Ingalls Wilder, has landed a July 9, 2026 streaming premiere date.

The Ingalls family is played by Luke Bracey as Charles, Crosby Fitzgerald as Caroline, Alice Halsey as Laura, and Skywalker Hughes as Mary. Warren Christie is John Edwards, Jocko Sims is Dr. George Tann, Meegwun Fairbrother plays Mitchell, Alyssa Wapanatâhk is White Sun, Wren Zhawenim Gotts is Good Eagle, and Xander Cole is Little Puma.

“Part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West, this fresh adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s iconic semi-autobiographical Little House books offers a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the frontier,” reads Netflix’s synopsis.

Rebecca Sonnenshine (The Boys, Vampire Diaries) guides the series as showrunner and executive producer. Additional executive producers include Joy Gorman Wettels for Joy Coalition, Trip Friendly for Friendly Family Productions, and Dana Fox. Sarah Adina Smith, Julie Anne Robinson, Kat Candler, Erica Tremblay, and Sydney Freeland direct the eight-episode season.
