Yellowstone fan favorite Jefferson White reprises his role as Jimmy Hurdstrom in the upcoming second season of CBS’s Marshals. White will appear in a recurring role alongside his fellow Yellowstone star Luke Grimes, who leads Marshals as Kayce Dutton.
“I’m thrilled to dive into the world of Marshals and continue exploring the American West,” stated White. “The cast and crew are stacked full of my favorite actors and filmmakers, and I’m honored to join them. Jimmy and I have been through a lot together and I can’t wait to see what’s next for us.”
Season two also stars Logan Marshall-Green as Pete Calvin, Arielle Kebbel as Belle Skinner, Andrea Cruz as Ash Santos, Tatanka Means as Mile Kittle, Brecken Merrill as Tate, Mo Brings Plenty as Mo, and Gil Birmingham as Thomas Rainwater.
The new season will premiere on October 4, 2026 at 8:30pm ET/PT, with new episodes airing on Sundays at 8pm ET/PT.
CBS offers this synopsis of Marshals: “With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Kayce Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana. Kayce and his teammates – Pete Calvin, Belle Skinner, Andrea Cruz, and Miles Kittle – must balance the high psychological cost of serving as the last line of defense in the region’s war on violence with their duty to their families, which for Kayce includes his son Tate and his confidantes Mo and Thomas Rainwater from the Broken Rock reservation.”
Spencer Hudnet is the showrunner and serves as an executive producer along with Luke Grimes, Taylor Sheridan, David Glasser, and John Linson. Additional executive producers include Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Michael Freidman, and Keith Cox.
In addition to playing Jimmy Hurdstrom, Jefferson White’s recent credits include God’s Country, Civil War, and Hellboy: The Crooked Man. Next up, White has November 1963, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, and Rambo.
