Matt Nable Joins the Cast of ‘Arrow’ Season Three and a New Trailer Arrives

The CW hasn’t officially announced it but Arrow star Stephen Amell has tweeted a confirmation on some big casting news. According to Amell, Matt Nable has joined the cast of the action series based on the DC Comics and will be playing supervillain Ra’s al Ghul.

Ra’s al Ghul is the leader of the League of Assassins and father to Nyssa al Ghul (Katrina Law). Nable will make his debut in the fourth episode of season three.

Other new members of the Arrow cast include Brandon Routh, J.R. Ramirez, Charlotte Ross, Karl Yune, Rila Fukushima, Peter Stormare, Nolan Funk, and David Cubitt.

The CW also just released a new trailer for Arrow‘s third season featuring a high-speed chase, Oliver asking out Felicity, and the appearance of Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer.
