Netflix’s new dramatic series Mindhunter starring Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany just released its second trailer in support of the show’s upcoming October 13, 2017 premiere. The thriller comes from Joe Penhall (The Road) and is executive produced by David Fincher (Gone Girl, The Social Network, Zodiac), Joshua Donen (The Quick and the Dead), Charlize Theron (Girlboss, Hatfields & McCoys), and Cean Chaffin (Gone Girl, Fight Club). Fincher, Asif Kapadia (Amy, Senna), Tobias Lindholm (A War, A Hijacking), and Andrew Douglas (The Amityville Horror, U Want Me 2 Kill Him?) directed season one.

In addition to Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany, the Mindhunter cast includes Anna Torv (Fringe) and Hannah Gross (Unless).

The Plot: How do we get ahead of crazy if we don’t know how crazy thinks? In Mindhunter, FBI agents Holden Ford (Groff) and Bill Tench (McCallany) study the damaged psyches of serial killers in an attempt to understand and catch them, and in the process pioneer the development of modern serial killer profiling.
