Godzilla roars and promises are made that Monarch’s secrets will be exposed in the first teaser trailer for Apple TV+’s Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. The short but packed full of content teaser also revealed the series will premiere on November 17, 2023.
Two episodes of the 10-episode season will be released on November 17th, followed by a new episode every Friday. The sci-fi drama will wrap up on January 12, 2024.
The minute-long teaser and premiere date reveal was accompanied by three new photos featuring Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Joe Tippett, and Elisa Lasowski. Photos of series stars Kurt Russell and his son, Wyatt, were previous released, along with confirmation Wyatt plays his dad at a younger age. Anna Sawai also stars in the much-anticipated Apple TV+ series that delves into Legendary’s Monsterverse.
Chris Black and Matt Fraction co-developed the series and serve as executive producers. Andy Goddard, Brad Van Arragon, Andrew Colville, and Safehouse Pictures’ Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell also executive produce along with Toho Co., Ltd.’s Hiro Matsuoka and Takemasa Arita. Matt Shakman directed episodes one and two and executive produces.

“Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco, and the shocking revelation that monsters are real, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters tracks two siblings following in their father’s footsteps to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch. Clues lead them into the world of monsters and ultimately down the rabbit hole to Army officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell), taking place in the 1950s and half a century later where Monarch is threatened by what Shaw knows.
