LL Cool J returns to CBS’s NCIS world full-time as the star of the latest addition to the franchise, NCIS: New York. Season one premieres on October 6, 2026, with new episodes airing on Tuesdays at 9pm ET/PT between NCIS season 24 and NCIS: Origins season three.
LL Cool J plays Special Agent Sam Hanna, Scott Caan stars as Nick Schaeffer, Jennifer Beals is Assistant Special Agent-In-Charge Robyn Wells, and Shane Harper is Wyatt Sellers. Devin Druid plays Sean Sullivan and Jacqueline Byers is Addy Rose.

After years of special assignments and covert ops, Special Agent Sam Hanna returns to his hometown of New York City for a brand-new mission. When Sam’s friend and Navy reservist Jack Halloway is found dead, he requests permission from Assistant Special Agent-In-Charge Robyn Wells to investigate his friend’s death. Robyn pairs Sam with roguish agent Nick Schaeffer, who introduces him to the rest of the team: clean-cut Wyatt Sellers, bright-eyed Addy Ross, and hacker-turned-computer guy Sean Sullivan.
As the team investigates Jack’s death, they work together to gather key information that can help find the culprits.”
