‘Orphan Black: Echoes’ Trailer Starring Krysten Ritter

The two-minute Orphan Black: Echoes official trailer introduces Krysten Ritter (Marvel’s Jessica Jones) as a woman named Lucy who loves SpaghettiOs and long walks on the beach. And she also has an “almost pathological desire to avoid talking about the past.” That’s because she has no idea who she really is or what she’s done in the past.

Season one of the sci-fi drama set in the world of Orphan Black also stars Keeley Hawes (Line of Duty), Amanda Fix (North of Normal), Avan Jogia (Now Apocalypse), Rya Kihlstedt (A Teacher), and James Hiroyuki Liao (The Dropout).

“Set in the near future, Orphan Black: Echoes takes a deep dive into the exploration of the scientific manipulation of human existence. It follows a group of women as they weave their way into each other’s lives and embark on a thrilling journey, unraveling the mystery of their identity and uncovering a wrenching story of love and betrayal,” reads AMC’s synopsis. “Ritter plays Lucy, a woman with an unimaginable origin story, trying to find her place in the world.”

Anna Fishko (Fear the Walking Dead) created the series and serves as writer, executive producer, and showrunner. Co-Creator of Orphan Black John Fawcett directs and executive produces. Additional executive producers include Krysten Ritter, David Fortier, Ivan Schneeberg, Nick Nantell, Katie O’Connell Marsh, and Kerry Appleyard. Boat Rocker manages the IP.

Orphan Black: Echoes premieres on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 10pm ET/PT.
