The wait is over! Starz has unveiled the official full-length trailer for the second half of Outlander‘s first season, and it’s everything an Outlander fan could want and expect from the romantic drama’s upcoming episodes. The new trailer has features scenes of a shirtless Jamie (Sam Heughan), quieter moments between Jamie and Claire (Caitriona Balfe), a painful shot of Jamie being whipped, and we see Claire locked up in prison.
There’s also plenty of action in this two-minute trailer for Starz’s popular romantic drama based on the bestselling book series by Diana Gabaldon.
Outlander returns on April 4, 2015.
The Plot:
Outlander follows the story of Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743, where she is immediately thrown into an unknown world where her life is threatened. When she is forced to marry Jamie, a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior, a passionate affair is ignited that tears Claire’s heart between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.
