‘Pan Am’ Premiere Clip and New Photos

It appears quite a few of the fall season’s new shows are following in the footsteps of Mad Men, going retro in an attempt to capture an audience. Among the batch of new shows premiering in the next few weeks is Pan Am, a high-flying ABC series set in 1963 – back when we didn’t have to remove our shoes to board a plane. The series follows Pan Am pilots and stewardesses as they “juggle their lives, their loves, their hopes and dreams while flying around the world to glamorous international cities.”

We have to wait until after the series debuts on September 25, 2011 to see if audiences are as ready to embrace the world of airline employees as they have Mad Men‘s advertising executives, but you can check out a clip now for a sneak peek at what’s in store this season:
