The CW will debut its new summer sci-fi series Pandora on July 16, 2019, with new episodes airing Tuesdays at 8pm ET/PT. The one-hour drama created by Mark A. Altman (Castle, The Librarians) and starring Priscilla Quintana premieres with an episode titled “Shelter From The Storm.” Steve Hughes directed the series premiere from a script by Altman.
In addition to Quintana as Jax, series regulars include Oliver Dench as Xander Duvall, Raechelle Banno as Atria Nine, and John Harlan Kim as Greg Li. Ben Radcliffe plays Ralen, Banita Sandhu is Delaney Pilar, Martin Bobb-Semple is Thomas James Ross, and Noah Huntley plays Professor Donovan Osborn.
Mark A. Altman executive produces with Steve Kriozere (NCIS, Necessary Roughness), Thomas P. Vitale, Karine Martin, and Chris Philip.
Episode 1 Plot:
“Shelter From The Storm” – A NEW LIFE AND NEW SECRETS – After the death of her parents, Jax (Priscilla Quintana) matriculates at the Fleet Training Academy on Earth where she learns to defend the Galaxy from intergalactic threats and makes a new family of friends, but also makes a shocking discovery about her own identity.
Series Description:
Set in the year 2199, Pandora is a sci-fi action series about a resourceful young woman who has lost everything but finds a new life at Earth’s Space Training Academy where she and her friends learn to defend the galaxy from threats, both alien and human. When secrets about the nature of her own identity begin to surface, she must uncover the truth, and whether she will be humanity’s savior or the instrument of its destruction.
