First Look: ‘Power Book IV: Force’ Season 2 Teaser, Photo and Premiere Date

Starz’s teaser trailer for Power Book IV: Force season two is short but sweet, and best of all it confirms the new season will premiere on Friday, September 1, 2023. Season one of the hit drama debuted in February 2022 and finished up its 10-episode run in April 2022.

Joseph Sikora (Power) returns to lead the cast of the spinoff as Tommy Egan. Isaac Keys (Get Shorty) stars as Diamond Sampson, Lili Simmons (Ray Donovan) is Claudia Flynn, Shane Harper (Hightown) is Vic Flynn, Kris D. Lofton (Snowfall) is Jenard Sampson, Carmela Zumbado (Chicago PD) is Mireya Garcia, and Manuel Eduardo Ramirez (Queen of the South) is Miguel Garcia.

Season two also stars Miriam A. Hyman (The Chi) as US Attorney Stacy Marks, Adrienne Walker (Law & Order: Organized Crime) is Shanti ‘Showstopper’ Page, Anthony Fleming III (Prison Break) is JP, Lucien Cambric (The Chi) is D-Mac, and Tommy Flanagan (Sons of Anarchy) plays Walter Flynn.

Starz released this description of the upcoming season:

“After cutting ties in New York, Tommy Egan’s newfound family and ruthless drug game enticed him to stay in Chicago. The explosive second season begins with Tommy on a mission to avenge the death of Lilliana, his former nemesis turned business partner. With Diamond (Keys) and Jenard (Lofton) at odds, the Flynn organization weakened, and a new connect on the scene, Tommy is more determined than ever to take over the Chicago drug world.”

Gary Lennon (Power, Euphoria) guides season two as showrunner and executive producer. This third series in the Power universe is also executive produced by the creator of Power, Courtney A. Kemp, through her production company End of Episode. Additional executive producers include Terri Kopp, Chris Selak, G-Unit Film and Television’s Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, and Atmosphere Entertainment MM’s Mark Canton.
