The CW’s Reign took a one week break to make room for an extended finale of The Vampire Diaries, but now it’s returning to its Friday night at 9pm ET/PT slot with episode five on March 17, 2017. The fifth episode of the series’ final season is titled ‘Highland Games’ and was directed by Michael McGowan from a script by Robert D. Doty.
The season four cast includes Adelaide Kane as Queen Mary, Rachel Skarsten as Queen Elizabeth, Megan Fellows as Queen Catherine, Dan Jeannotte as James, and Will Kemp as Lord Darnley. Ben Geurens, Celina Sinden, Jonathan Goad, Craig Parker, Spencer MacPherson, and Rose Williams also star in Reign‘s final season.
The ‘Highland Games’ Plot: LORD DARNLEY MUST PROVE HIMSELF TO MARY — In order to get Mary (Kane) to agree to a marriage, Lord Darnley (Kemp) must demonstrate his loyalty when she voices her concerns about his true intentions. Catherine (Follows) and Narcisse (Parker) work to repair King Charles’ (MacPherson) reputation after rumors spread about his strange behavior and threaten the throne.
