‘SEAL Team’ Season 6 Episode 10 Preview: Photos, Plot and Cast

Paramount+’s SEAL Team season six episode 10, the season finale, finds the team mourning the loss of one of their own. Fans are still reeling from the events of episode nine which found Clay Spenser passing away – and Max Thieriot exiting the series. Given that Thieriot’s the lead in Fire Country, Clay’s death was shocking yet not unexpected.

In an interview with TV Insider, executive producer Spencer Hudnut talked about the decision to kill off Clay.

“For a long time, I really weighed maybe he and Stella (Alona Tal) and Brian do move out to California and live that life that they talk about in this episode. But because of his traumatic injury to his leg, he has a long road ahead to recover, and because the show is so much about vet issues and what our men and women in uniform deal with when they come home, it just felt disingenuous to send him off and just act like he’s riding off into the sunset, everything’s gonna be fine,” said Hudnut.

Episode 10, “Fair Winds and Following Seas,” will air on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Paramount+ released the following description of the upcoming episode: “Reeling from a devastating loss, BRAVO must fight their way out of hostile territory.”

The cast is led by David Boreanaz as Jason Hayes and includes Neil Brown Jr as Ray Perry, AJ Buckley as Sonny Quinn, Toni Trucks as Lisa Davis, and Raffi Barsoumian as Omar Hamza.

Series Description, Courtesy of Paramount+:

SEAL Team is a military drama that follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs as they train, plan and execute the most dangerous, high-stakes missions our country can ask of them. Jason Hayes (Boreanaz) is the respected, intense leader of the Tier One team whose home life has suffered as a result of his extensive warrior’s existence. His team includes his trusted confidant, Ray Perry (Brown, Jr.), the longest-tenured operator with whom Jason shares an ingrained shorthand; Sonny Quinn (Buckley), an exceptional, loyal soldier with a checkered past who still combats self-destructive tendencies; Clay Spenser (Max Thieriot), a young, multilingual second-generation SEAL with insatiable drive and dedication; and Omar Hamza (Barsoumian), a senior chief with fifteen years of experience as a SEAL, the son of Syrian immigrants with a deep understanding of the Middle East.

Vital to the team’s success is Lieutenant Lisa Davis (Trucks), a no-nonsense, take-charge officer. Deployed on clandestine missions worldwide at a moment’s notice and knowing the toll it takes on them and their families, this tight-knit SEAL team displays unwavering patriotism and fearless dedication even in the face of overwhelming odds.

(Update: On January 18, 2023 Paramount+ announced they’ve renewed the series for season 7.)
