Freeform’s Shadowhunters second season episode seven featured Simon on a disastrous date, Izzy continuing to deal with her addiction to Yin-Fen, Cleophas trying to set up Clary and Luke, an angel using telepathy to appeal to Clary for help, and Alec ready to lose his virginity to Magnus. Episode seven was jam-packed with important events, and things apparently won’t go any smoother in episode eight. Episode eight is titled ‘Love is a Devil’ and will air on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 8pm ET/PT.
The Shadowhunters season two cast includes Katherine McNamara as Clary Fray, Dominic Sherwood as Jace Wayland, Isaiah Mustafa as Luke Garroway, Matthew Daddario as Alec Lightwood, Alberto Rosende as Simon Lewis, Harry Shum Jr as Magnus Bane, and Emeraude Toubia as Isabelle Lightwood. Todd Slavkin, Darren Swimmer, McG, Michael Reisz, Matt Hastings, Mary Viola, Martin Moszkowicz and Robert Kulzer executive produce the supernatural series based on Cassandra Clare’s The Mortal Instruments book series.
The ‘Love is a Devil’ Plot: Tasked with arranging his brother Max’s Rune Ceremony, Alec decides this would be the perfect opportunity for his family to get to know Magnus. But with tensions flying among the different Shadowhunters, Max’s big event quickly becomes an evening where they all must face their biggest fears.
Meanwhile, Simon makes a bold move as Isabelle finds an unlikely new ally.
