Apple TV’s not making Silo fans wait overly long for the upcoming fourth and final season. The streamer confirmed the series’ fourth season renewal in October 2024 and just announced that the final season will premiere on July 9, 2027.
The release date announcement included a special sneak peek of the upcoming fourth season – with spoilers.
The critically acclaimed sci-fi thriller debuted in May 2023, followed by season two in November 2024. The just-concluded third season premiered on July 3, 2026, and wrapped up on September 4.
Rebecca Ferguson stars as Juliette Nichols. Season three also features Jessica Henwick as Helen Drew, Ashley Zukerman as Daniel Keene, Common as Robert Sims, Harriet Walter as Martha Walker, and Chinaza Uche as Paul Billings. Avi Nash plays Lukas Kyle, Alexandria Riley is Camille Sims, Shane McRae is Deagan Knox, Remmie Milner is Shirley Campbell, Rick Gomez is Patrick Kennedy, Billy Postlethwaite is Hank Murphy, Clare Perkins is Carla McLain, and Steve Zahn plays Solo.
“Based on Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy, season three of Silo reveals an origin story set centuries earlier while continuing the saga of a dystopian society of 10,000 people living underground under mysterious circumstances,” reads Apple TV’s synopsis. “In the present, Juliette Nichols (Ferguson) survives her forced “cleaning” but returns with memory loss as the silo recovers from rebellion and faces a dangerous new threat.
Meanwhile, in the “Before Times,” journalist Helen Drew (Henwick) and Congressman Daniel Keene (Zukerman) uncover a conspiracy that pulls them into a chain of events with catastrophic, irreversible consequences.”
Rebecca Ferguson, series creator Graham Yost, Michael Dinner, Nina Jack, Joanna Thapa, Morten Tyldum, author Hugh Howey, Amber Templemore, Fred Golan, Rémi Aubuchon, and AMC Studios are the executive producers.
