The April 13, 2013 episode of Saturday Night Live hosted by Vince Vaughn opened with President Obama (played by Jay Pharaoh) congratulating the Senate on the idea of debating gun control. President Obama was joined by Senators Joe Manchin (Jason Sudeikis) and Pat Toomey (Bill Hader) as they explained the outline of their gun control proposals which did very little to actually control the sale of guns.
