‘Still Up’ Trailer: Not Sleeping Together is Complicated

Two insomniacs develop a strange late-night relationship in Apple TV+’s Still Up, a new comedy starring Antonia Thomas (The Good Doctor) and Craig Roberts (Red Oaks). The first trailer introduces Danny (Roberts) and Lisa (Thomas) and sets up the weird after-hours world they’ve learned to adapt to after everyone else they know has gone to sleep.

Season one also features Blake Harrison (Kate & Koji), Lois Chimimba (The Outlaws), Luke Fetherston (Almost Never), and Rich Fulcher (Tig N’ Seek).

Steve Burge and Natalie Walter co-created the comedy and serve as writers, along with Bryce Hart. John Addis, a BAFTA Film Award Best British Short Film nominee for Lucky Break, directed the series. BAFTA Award winner Paul Schlesinger and Emmy Award winner Phil Clarke executive produce, and Arabella McGuigan is involved as a producer.

Apple TV+ offers this description of the comedy:

Still Up is an almost romantic comedy set in the after-hours world of insomniacs Danny (Roberts) and Lisa (Thomas) who have no secrets except their feelings for each other.”

The first three episodes will premiere on September 22, 2023, with new episodes of the eight-episode season releasing on Fridays.
