Stumptown Season 1 Episode 1 Photos: Preview of “Forget it Dex, It’s Stumptown”

ABC’s new drama Stumptown is set to premiere on September 25, 2019 with an episode titled “Forget it Dex, It’s Stumptown.” The network’s released details on what viewers can expect from the series which premieres with an episode directed by James Griffiths from a script by Jason Richman.

Richman, Ruben Fleischer, and David Bernad produce the series based on the Stumptown graphic novel series written by Greg Rucka and illustrated by Matthew Southworth and Justin Greenwood. Rucka, Southworth, and Greenwood are also involved as producers.

New episodes of season one will air on Wednesdays at 10pm ET/PT.

Cobie Smulders leads the cast as Dex Parios. Jake Johnson plays Grey McConnell, Tantoo Cardinal is Sue Lynn Blackbird, Cole Sibus is Ansel Parios, Adrian Martinez is Tookie, Camryn Manheim plays Lieutenant Cosgrove, and Michael Ealy is Detective Miles Hoffman.

The “Forget it Dex, It’s Stumptown.” Plot – Dex Parios – a strong, assertive and sharp-witted army veteran with a complicated love life, gambling debt and a brother to take care of – works as a PI in Portland, Oregon. With only herself to rely on, she solves other people’s messes with a blind eye toward her own, finding herself at odds with the police and in the firing line of criminals.
