The CW’s Supergirl season two episode 19 was one of the season’s strongest, advancing storylines, strengthening relationships, and proving no one should mess with Kara’s sister. Maggie did a great job of making Supergirl pause and consider her approach to fighting crimes that don’t involve aliens but episode 19’s stand-out performance was definitely delivered by Chyler Leigh as Alex, appropriate given the fact the episode was titled ‘Alex.’ Up next is season two episode 20 titled ‘City of Lost Children’ directed by Ben Bray and written by Gabriel Llanas and Anna Musky-Goldwyn. Episode 20 airs on May 8, 2017.

The season two cast includes Melissa Benoist, Chyler Leigh, Chris Wood, Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan, David Harewood, and Floriana Lima.

The “City of Lost Children” Plot: THIS IS US LONNIE CHAVIS GUEST STARS – When an alien attacks National City, Supergirl (Benoist) and the DEO learn the alien is a Phorian, an otherwise peaceful race with telekinetic powers. Guardian (Brooks) gets a lead on the Phorian’s address but instead of finding the culprit, he finds a very scared boy named Marcus (guest star Lonnie Chavis). Marcus will only trust James so it is up to Guardian to stop the attacks on the city. Rhea’s (Teri Hatcher) plan escalates.
