It’s been four years since The Terminal List season one, so you’re justified if you don’t remember the events of the first season. Prime Video’s official trailer for season two confirms that if your memory’s hazy, a rewatch of the first season is mandatory. So much of what’s shown in the official trailer is dependent on remembering what has happened thus far to James Reece (Chris Pratt) and where his story left off.
Season two is based on Jack Carr’s second James Reece novel—True Believer—and will premiere on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 with the release of all eight episodes.
Pratt plays Reece, Tom Hopper is Raife Hastings, Constance Wu is Katie Buranek, Dar Salim is Mohammed Farooq, Luke Hemsworth is Jules Landry, and Gabriel Luna is Freddy Strain. Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Martin Sensmeier, Arnold Vosloo, Jeremy Bobb, and Shiraz Tzarfati also star.
“The psychological revenge thriller of season one opens up into a globe-trotting espionage thriller taking Reece across the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East, and Europe,” reads Netflix’s synopsis. “Joined by returning fan favorites like Raife Hastings, Katie Buranek, Mohammed Farooq, Jules Landry, and newcomers like Freddy Strain, Reece will uncover a conspiracy that reaches from Moscow to Langley and ties into his own family’s history.”
David DiGilio serves as writer, executive producer, and showrunner. Additional executive producers include Chris Pratt, author Jack Carr, Antoine Fuqua, Kat Samick, former Army Ranger and writer Max Adams, and former Navy SEAL, writer, actor, and technical advisor Jared Shaw. The Terminal List is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC, and Civic Center Media.
