‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 5 Teaser: June’s Ready to Take Down Serena

The new teaser trailer for season five of Hulu’s critically acclaimed – and incredibly timely – The Handmaid’s Tale opens with June Osborne (Elisabeth Moss) declaring she wants Serena Waterford (Yvonne Strahovski) to know she killed Commander Fred Waterford. June, who also admits she feels Gilead pulling her back, is ready to take on Serena in what will hopefully be an epic showdown.

In addition to Elisabeth Moss and Yvonne Strahovski, season five stars Bradley Whitford, Max Minghella, O-T Fagbenle, Samira Wiley, Ann Dowd, Madeline Brewer, Amanda Brugel, and Sam Jaeger. Alexis Bledel, who played Emily/Ofglen for four seasons, is not returning for season five.

Season five premieres on Hulu on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

The Handmaid’s Tale is based on the bestselling novel by Margaret Atwood. Bruce Miller created the series and serves as an executive producer along with series star Elisabeth Moss, Warren Littlefield, Daniel Wilson, Fran Sears, Eric Tuchman, Yahlin Chang, Rachel Skukert, Sheila Hockin, John Weber, Frank Siracusa, Steve Stark and Kim Todd.
