Netflix didn’t wait until the arrival of season two to announce The Hunting Wives will return for season three. The streamer’s official announcement did not confirm which cast members will be back. It also didn’t tease any details on the season three plot.

The series, which currently sits at 81% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, premiered in July 2025. Season two will be released on November 26, 2026.

“I’m so stoked to be heading back to Maple Brook, and I promise that once you’ve finished Season 2, you’ll be desperate to see what happens next. Buckle up, because Season 3 will be even more scandalous and twisted,” said series creator, showrunner, writer, and executive producer Rebecca Cutter.

Season two stars Malin Åkerman as Margo, Brittany Snow as Sophie, Kim Matula as Nadia, Jaime Ray Newman as Callie, George Ferrier as Brad, John Stamos as Chase Brylan, Dermot Mulroney as Jed, Alex FitzAlan as Trout, and Dale Dickey as Zelda. The ensemble also includes Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Karen Rodriguez, Hunter Emery, Branton Box, Cam Gigandet, and Angel Reese.

The Hunting Wives is based on May Cobb’s bestselling novel and is executive produced by Cobb and 3 Arts Entertainment’s Erwin Stoff.

Netflix’s season two synopsis reads, “At the start of season 2, Sophie and Margo are on the outs. But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises. Are they the hunters or the hunted?”
