Paramount+ teased new details on Taylor Sheridan’s latest drama, The Madison, and apparently, even though everyone assumed it was somehow connected to Yellowstone, it is not a spinoff. What is confirmed is that it’s a “profound love story channeled through a deeply personal family drama about resilience and transformation.”
The streamer also confirmed a Saturday, March 14, 2026 premiere date.
Oscar nominee Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell (Monarch: Legacy of Monsters) lead the six-episode season. The cast also includes Beau Garrett (Firefly Lane), Elle Chapman (A Man Called Otto), Patrick J. Adams (Suits), Amiah Miller (War for the Planet of the Apes), and Alaina Pollack (The Surrender). Ben Schnetzer (3 Body Problem), Kevin Zegers (Power), Rebecca Spence (Lady in the Lake), Danielle Vasinova (1923), and Matthew Fox (Lost) also star.
“The Madison is Sheridan’s most intimate work to date, unfolding across two distinct worlds—the beautiful landscape of Montana and the vibrant energy of Manhattan—as it examines the ties that bind families together,” reads Paramount+’s synopsis. “Introducing the Clyburns, the six-episode first season of The Madison is a heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.”
The new drama is produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions. Executive producers include Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Voros, Michael Friedman, and Keith Cox. Series stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell also serve as executive producers.
