‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 Debuts a Behind-the-Scenes Featurette

Disney+ offers fans a look behind-the-scenes at The Mandalorian with Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. The two-minute featurette focuses on how the series has been embraced across the globe and how its breakout star – Grogu – became an instant hit.

In the new video, showrunner and head writer Jon Favreau calls the reaction to Mark Hamill’s surprise appearance as Luke Skywalker the high point of his whole career. “It makes you grateful that you’re doing what you’re doing,” says Favreau.

The featurette and new poster arrived 30 days out from the eight-episode third season premiere on March 1, 2023.

Season three stars Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin/The Mandalorian. Katee Sackhoff reprises her role as Bo-Katan, Amy Sedaris is back as the scene-stealing Peli Motto, Giancarlo Esposito returns as Moff Gideon, Carl Weathers returns as Greef Karga, and Emily Swallow’s back as the Armorer.
