HBO Max’s official trailer for the critically acclaimed, Emmy-winning drama The Pitt confirms season two will be equally as intense as the series’ first season. Season one premiered in January 2025, and the 15-episode second season is set to kick off on January 8, 2026.
New episodes will stream on Thursdays at 9pm ET.
Noah Wyle returns to lead the cast as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch. Patrick Ball plays Dr. Langdon, Katherine LaNasa stars as Dana Evans, Supriya Ganesh is Dr. Mohan, and Fiona Dourif is Dr. McKay. Season two also stars Taylor Dearden as Dr. King, Isa Briones as Dr. Santos, Gerran Howell as Whitaker, Shabana Azeez as Javadi, and Sepideh Moafi as Dr. Al-Hashimi.
“The Pitt is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh,” reads HBO Max’s synopsis.
R. Scott Gemmill created the medical drama and serves as an executive producer. Additional executive producers include Noah Wyle, John Wells, Erin Jontow, Joe Sachs, Simran Baidwan, and Michael Hissrich. The Pitt is produced by John Wells Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
