‘The Punisher’ Reveals a New Trailer and Premiere Date


Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) declares that the world needs to see the truth in the new trailer for Marvel’s The Punisher. Netflix used the new trailer to finally announce the series will premiere on November 17, 2017.

In addition to Bernthal, the season one cast includes Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Girls), Deborah Ann Woll (Marvel’s Daredevil, True Blood), Ben Barnes (Westworld), Amber Rose Revah (Emerald City,), Michael Nathanson (The Knick), Jaime Ray Newman (Bates Motel), Jason R Moore (A Lonely Place for Dying), Daniel Webber (11.22.63), and Paul Schulze (Nurse Jackie). Hannibal‘s Steve Lightfoot serves as showrunner and executive produces the comic book-inspired action series with Jim Chory (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s Luke Cage) and Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s Luke Cage).

The Plot: After exacting revenge on those responsible for the death of his wife and children, Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) uncovers a conspiracy that runs far deeper than New York’s criminal underworld. Now known throughout the city as The Punisher, he must discover the truth about injustices that affect more than his family alone.
