ABC’s The Rookie season five episode two finds everyone on high alert after serial killer Rosalind Dyer (Annie Wersching) escaped. Directed by Rob Seidenglanz from a script by Elizabeth Davis Beall, episode two – “Labor Day” – will air on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 10pm ET/PT.
Nathan Fillion leads the cast as John Nolan. Eric Winter plays Tim Bradford, Melissa O’Neil is Lucy Chen, Alyssa Diaz plays Angela Lopez, and Richard T. Jones is Wade Grey. Mekia Cox is Nyla Harper, Shawn Ashmore plays Wesley Evers, Tru Valentino is Aaron Thorsen, and Jenna Dewan returns as Bailey Nune.
“Labor Day” Plot: Officer John Nolan is moving closer to his new role as a training officer. In preparation, he is tasked with overseeing Officer Aaron Thorson and must uncover the truth about another officer’s suicide.
Meanwhile, Lucy’s successful undercover assignment earns her an invitation for specialized training in Sacramento and she must decide if this is the path she wants to take.
