‘The Rookie’ Season 7 Episode 14 Preview: Photos, “Mad About Murder” Promo and Cast

Angela asks the question we all want to know the answer to in the teaser for ABC’s The Rookie season seven episode 14. “Mad About Murder” will air on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 9pm ET/PT.

The cast is led by Nathan Fillion as John Nolan. Season seven stars Mekia Cox as Nyla Harper, Alyssa Diaz as Angela Lopez, Richard T. Jones as Sergeant Wade Grey, Melissa O’Neil as Lucy Chen, Eric Winter as Tim Bradford, Jenna Dewan as Bailey Nune, Shawn Ashmore as Wesley Evers, and Lisseth Chavez as Celina Juarez. Deric Augustine and Patrick Keleher recur as Miles and Seth.

“Mad About Murder” Plot: Tim receives a strange message, launching a larger investigation into the dark web. Meanwhile, Celina works to take down a popular podcast, and Miles helps update the department’s training videos.

The Rookie Season 7 Details:

John Nolan, once the oldest rookie in the LAPD, has used his life experience, determination, and sense of humor to keep up with rookies 20 years his junior. Now recovering from a gunshot wound and feeling the effects of his age, John and the team welcome two new rookies and continue the hunt for two dangerous escaped prisoners who have very personal vendettas.
