‘The Rookie’ Season 7 Episode 4 Preview: Photos, “Darkness Falling” Promo and Cast

The search for a serial killer keeps the department busy on ABC’s The Rookie season seven episode 4, “Darkness Falling.” Episode four will air on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 10pm ET/PT.

The cast is led by Nathan Fillion as John Nolan. Season seven stars Mekia Cox as Nyla Harper, Alyssa Diaz as Angela Lopez, Richard T. Jones as Sergeant Wade Grey, Melissa O’Neil as Lucy Chen, Eric Winter as Tim Bradford, Jenna Dewan as Bailey Nune, Shawn Ashmore as Wesley Evers, and Lisseth Chavez as Celina Juarez. Deric Augustine and Patrick Keleher recur as Miles and Seth.

“Darkness Falling” Plot: Following his stint at the LAPD, Wesley returns to the district attorney’s office where his past connects him to the team’s investigation. Meanwhile, Bailey and John have conflicting feelings over safety, while Lucy grows suspicious of Seth. Guest stars include Michael Trucco and Necar Zadegan.

The Rookie Season 7 Details:

John Nolan, once the oldest rookie in the LAPD, has used his life experience, determination and sense of humor to keep up with rookies 20 years his junior. Now recovering from a gunshot wound and feeling the effects of his age, John and the team welcome two new rookies and continue the hunt for two dangerous escaped prisoners who have very personal vendettas.
