‘The Royals’ Season 4 Episode 1 Preview: Liam and Robert Square Off

E!’s The Royals returns for its fourth season on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT. In support of the new season, E!’s released a new one minute clip from the first episode which finds Robert and Liam arguing about Liam missing his brother’s coronation.

The Royals fans will get to see 10 new one-hour episodes this season starring Elizabeth Hurley, Max Brown, Jake Maskall, Tom Austen, Alexandra Park, William Moseley, and Genevieve Gaunt. Brian Robbins, Joe Davola (One Tree Hill, Smallville), and Shauna Phela are the executive producers.


Season Four Episode One Plot: In Sunday night’s season premiere episode, although Robert gains popularity on his coronation tour, Jasper and Liam have information that could end his reign. Liam tries to convince his dethroned and reluctant uncle Cyrus to help him facilitate Robert’s downfall. With a heavy heart and a yearning to clear her head, Eleanor decides to leave England – and Jasper – to work abroad with Sebastian.

In the clip, the family gathers to say goodbye to Eleanor as she’s leaving to travel and oversee the building of her hotels. Liam and Robert get into a heated discussion about Liam not showing up for the coronation. Eleanor wants Liam to forget about his old love Kathryn, who came between Liam and Robert. Liam counters he wants her to forget about Jasper.

The fourth season of The Royals picks up after the charming, potentially duplicitous, Prince Robert (Brown) is crowned King of England. Prince Liam (Moseley) and his recently dethroned uncle Cyrus (Maskall) form an unlikely alliance, Queen Helena (Hurley) struggles to control her unruly brood as she figures out her role in the palace. And, after a heated on again-off again relationship, bodyguard Jasper (Austen) tries to capture Princess Eleanor’s (Park) heart one more time just as they are about to face their biggest obstacle yet.
