‘The Royals’ Season 4 Episode 8 Preview: In The Dead Vast and Middle of The Night Clip and Trailer

E!’s The Royals season four episode seven revealed Kathryn (Christina Wolfe) might be dating Prince Liam but she’s still got the hots for King Robert. Robert set things up so that his brother Liam would overhear Kathryn admitting she still wanted to be with him, which should – hopefully – mark the end of Kathryn’s visits to the Palace.

Episode seven also found Wilhelmina paying a price with the press for not listening to Queen Helena’s advice. Meanwhile, Jasper went on a mission with Princess Eleanor to retrieve her mom’s special pen after giving it away during one of her nighttime “Robin Hood” excursions.

Up next, season four episode eight titled “In The Dead Vast and Middle of The Night” airing on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT. E!’s released a new clip and a trailer from the episode which will feature Eleanor and Helena throwing Wilhelmina a hen party.

Season four consists of 10 one-hour episodes starring Elizabeth Hurley as Queen Helena, Max Brown as King Robert, Jake Maskall as Cyrus, Tom Austen as Jasper, Alexandra Park as Princess Eleanor, William Moseley as Prince Liam, and Genevieve Gaunt as Wilhelmina. Brian Robbins, Joe Davola (One Tree Hill, Smallville), and Shauna Phela are the executive producers.

The “In The Dead Vast and Middle of The Night” Plot: Eleanor throws Willow a party that spirals out of control; Robert forms a sinister alliance; and Liam proves his loyalty to his brother.

The Royals Season 4 Plot: Drama about a fictional British Royal family, who inhabit a world of luxury and regal tradition, but one that also involves intrigue and unexpected twists revealing the complexities faced by royals trying to maintain high-profile relationships under scrutiny, and continuing to shine a light on the anarchy in the monarchy.

The fourth season of The Royals picks up after the charming, potentially duplicitous, Prince Robert (Brown) is crowned King of England. Prince Liam (Moseley) and his recently dethroned uncle Cyrus (Maskall) form an unlikely alliance, Queen Helena (Hurley) struggles to control her unruly brood as she figures out her role in the palace. And, after a heated on again-off again relationship, bodyguard Jasper (Austen) tries to capture Princess Eleanor’s (Park) heart one more time just as they are about to face their biggest obstacle yet.
