Prime Video has set a July 16, 2025 premiere date for the 11-episode third season of the coming-of-age romantic drama The Summer I Turned Pretty. Season one debuted in June 2022, and season two was released in July 2023.
The season three premiere date announcement was accompanied by a teaser poster featuring Lola Tung (“Belly”), Gavin Casalegno (“Jeremiah”), and Christopher Briney (“Conrad”). The cast also includes Sean Kaufman (“Steven”), Rain Spencer (“Taylor”), and Jackie Chung (“Laurel”).
The series is based on Jenny Han’s bestselling book trilogy, and Han serves as a co-showrunner with Sarah Kucserka. Season three’s executive producers include Han, Kucserka, Karen Rosenfelt, Paul Lee, Hope Hartman, and Mads Hansen.
“The Summer I Turned Pretty is a multigenerational drama that hinges on a love triangle between one girl and two brothers, the ever-evolving relationship between mothers and their children, and the enduring power of strong female friendship,” reads Prime Video’s synopsis. “It is a coming-of-age story about first love, first heartbreak, and the magic of that one perfect summer.”
