Tom Hanks Drops the F-Bomb on Live TV

Oscar winner Tom Hanks has been busy doing interviews to promote his upcoming film, Cloud Atlas, in which he plays six different characters. And during his visit to Good Morning America, the normally well-spoken Hanks accidentally dropped the F-bomb on live TV. Speaking in one of the accents he uses for the film, Hanks let slip the cuss word – much to his own embarrassment.

Hanks followed his on-air apology with a tweet:

From ABC/GMA: “This morning Tom Hanks accidently used an expletive during a live interview on GMA with Elizabeth Vargas. They both immediately apologized on air, and the show was corrected for all subsequent feeds.”
