HBO Sets ‘True Blood’s Final Season Premiere Date and Reveals a Teaser

So long sexy vampires, werewolves, fairies, shapeshifters, and other assorted supernatural creatures. HBO and Truebies are saying good-bye to True Blood with one final 10-episode season arriving on June 22, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT. The seventh and final season of the popular show will allow fans one last chance to visit the world of Bon Temps and its surroundings and say farewell to waitress/part-fairy/full-time supernatural creature magnet Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), power-hungry vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), and the drop’dead’ sexy Viking vampire Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard).

HBO also confirmed the premiere date of the drama series The Leftovers from Damon Lindelof (Lost) and novelist Tom Perrotta. The Leftovers has been given the prime spot of Sunday, June 15th at 10pm ET/PT, immediately following the season four finale of Game of Thrones.

The 10-episode season one stars Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman, Christopher Eccleston, Liv Tyler, Charlie Carver, Max Carver, Carrie Coon, Ann Dowd, Michael Gaston, Emily Meade, Annie Q, Margaret Qualley, Amanda Warren and Chris Zylka. The show is based on Perrotta’s critically acclaimed novel which examines The Rapture.
