Season two of HBO’s critically acclaimed drama True Detective premieres on June 21, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT and today the network’s released a new trailer for the new season. Although, unlike the first trailer, in this new video the actors speak, it’s still impossible to discern exactly what season two is about. Series creator Nic Pizzolatto returns as writer and executive producer, and the new season stars Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, Vince Vaughn, and Taylor Kitsch.
The Plot: “A bizarre murder brings together three law-enforcement officers and a career criminal, each of whom must navigate a web of conspiracy and betrayal in the scorched landscapes of California.”
