AMC once again used the San Diego Comic Con as the launching pad for a new season of The Walking Dead. The network brought the cast, including Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, and Danai Gurira, to San Diego to reveal the first lengthy trailer for season six. They also announced the sixth season will premiere on October 11, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT, with the first episode extended to 90 minutes.
In other The Walking Dead news, the cast has expanded by two. Merritt Wever (Nurse Jackie) and Ethan Embry are joining the zombie apocalypse series, and Wever will apparently play a character who’s featured in the comics.
