
Wednesday season three’s added three new guest stars – Lena Headey (Game of Thrones), Andrew McCarthy (Brats), and James Lance (Ted Lasso). Netflix did not reveal character names or descriptions for the just-announced guest stars.
Production is now underway in Dublin, Ireland, with Jenna Ortega back as the titular character. Also returning are Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, Emma Myers as Enid, Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin, Joy Sunday as Bianca, and Moosa Mostafa as Eugene.
Netflix previously announced Eva Green joined the cast as Ophelia, Winona Ryder is playing Tabitha, Chris Sarandon is Balthazar, Noah Taylor is Cyrus, Oscar Morgan is Atticus, and Kenney Moyer is Daisy.
The streamer hasn’t released a synopsis of season three. Season two’s read: “Wednesday Addams (Ortega) returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await. This season, Wednesday must navigate family, friends, and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem. Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery.”
Season one stands as Netflix’s most watched English-language series, and season two is the streamer’s fifth most watched.
Alfred Gough and Miles Millar created the series, based on characters created by Charles Addams, and serve as executive producers and showrunners. Tim Burton directs and executive produces.
