HBO’s officially renewed the Emmy-winning anthology series The White Lotus for a third season ahead of its season two finale. Created by Mike White, The White Lotus season one was set in Hawaii while season two takes in Italy. The renewal announcement didn’t confirm if any of either seasons’ cast members were returning or where season three will be set.

I feel so lucky to get this opportunity again and am excited to reunite with my amazingly talented collaborators on The White Lotus,” stated creator, writer, and director Mike White.

Season one starred Murray Bartlett (Looking), Connie Britton (Nashville), Jennifer Coolidge (2 Broke Girls), Alexandra Daddario (True Detective), and Fred Hechinger (Eighth Grade). Jake Lacy (Girls), Brittany O’Grady (Little Voice), Natasha Rothwell (Insecure), Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria), and Steve Zahn (Treme) were also featured in the first season.
Jennifer Coolidge was the only cast member to return as a season regular in season two. Coolidge is joined by F. Murray Abraham, Theo Rossi, Aubrey Plaza, Adam DiMarco, Meghann Fahy, Jon Gries, Michael Imperioli, and Haley Lu Richardson. Will Sharpe, Simona Tabasco, Leo Woodall, Sabrina Impacciatore, Beatrice Granno, and Tom Hollander also star.
The White Lotus‘ first season premiered in July 2021 and earned 20 Emmy nominations, winning 10. Season two followed in October 2022 and will wrap up with the finale on December 11th.
