‘You’ TV Series Preview: Plot, Cast, Photos, and Premiere Date

Once Upon a Time‘s Princess Anna, Elizabeth Lail, and Gossip Girl‘s Dan Humphrey, Penn Badgley, return to series television with starring roles in Lifetime’s You. The new dramatic series is based on Caroline Kepnes’ bestselling novel and has Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble as executive producers. Berlanti and Gamble adapted Kepnes’ book for the show.

Season one of You is made up of 10 episodes and will premiere on September 9, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT. Prior to its season one debut, Lifetime awarded the series a second season renewal. Season two will follow Caroline Kepnes’ Hidden Bodies and will begin shooting later this year.

The You Cast:

Penn Badgley takes on the role of Joe Goldberg, Elizabeth Lail stars as Guinevere Beck, and Luca Padovan (Super Wings!) is Paco. Zach Cherry (Our Cartoon President) plays Ethan, Shay Mitchell (Pretty Little Liars) is Peach Salinger, Nicole Kang plays Lynn, and special guest star John Stamos (Scream Queens) plays Dr. Nicky.

What’s You About?

You is a 21st century love story that asks, “What would you do for love?” When a brilliant bookstore manager crosses paths with an aspiring writer, his answer becomes clear: anything. Using the internet and social media as his tools to gather the most intimate of details and get close to her, a charming and awkward crush quickly becomes obsession as he quietly and strategically removes every obstacle – and person – in his way.

Season two will follow Joe Goldberg as his search for love takes him to Hollywood where dreams can be made or shattered.
