The CW’s Reign returned for its fourth and final season on February 10, 2017 with an episode featuring Queen Mary kidnapped and nearly forced into marriage. Episode two titled ‘A Grain of Deception’ and airing on February 17th finds Queen Mary unsure if she can still trust her closest advisors and friends. Directed by Fred Gerber, episode two was written by Patti Carr and Lara Olsen.
The season four cast includes Adelaide Kane as Queen Mary, Rachel Skarsten as Queen Elizabeth, Megan Fellows as Queen Catherine, Dan Jeannotte as James, and Will Kemp as Lord Darnley. Ben Geurens, Celina Sinden, Jonathan Goad, Craig Parker, Spencer MacPherson, and Rose Williams also star in Reign‘s final season.
The ‘A Grain of Deception’ Plot: A SPY THREATENS MARY’S TRUST WITHIN HER INNER CIRCLE — Queen Mary (Kane) discovers there is a leak amongst her advisors and sets out to uncover the traitor. Queen Elizabeth (Skarsten) enlists in Narcisse (Parker) to further her quest for supremacy. Meanwhile, Catherine (Follows) takes desperate measures to regain some of the power she has lost.
