ABC’s new dramatic series Wicked City failed to find an audience and has become this fall season’s first officially cancelled series. Director/executive producer Jon Cassar confirmed the cancellation via Twitter, while also assuring fans of the series that there will eventually be a total of eight episodes available for streaming.
Episode three titled “Should I Stay or Should I Go?” aired on November 10, 2015 and drew in just 1.7 million viewers. Shark Tank reruns are expected to air in Wicked City‘s time slot beginning on November 17th. Although other shows have had their episode orders cut including Fox’s Minority Report and NBC’s The Player, Wicked City starring Ed Westwick and Jeremy Sisto is the first to be completely yanked off the schedule.
