As expected, none of the new major releases were able to topple Spectre from its #1 spot on the box office chart. Spectre has now pulled in $130+ million domestically since its release on November 6, 2015 and appears to have the legs to stay toward the top of the Top 10 list for many weekends to come, although it will hand over the #1 spot to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 next weekend. The holiday comedy Love the Coopers performed the best among the three new releases while fellow wide release My All-American failed to make the top 10 list over its first weekend in theaters. Opening in 1500+ theaters, My All-American starring Aaron Eckhart pulled in just $1.3 million.
In addition to the final Hunger Games film, the November 20-22 weekend will find The Night Before and The Secret in Their Eyes arriving in theaters.
