The CW’s The Vampire Diaries season eight heads into its winter break after episode seven airing on December 9, 2016. Episode six had multiple game-changing moments and left Damon’s fate hanging after his once BFF decided he needed to get rid of his former drinking buddy for good. Episode six also found Stefan and Damon making a deal with the devil that might put an end to Stefan and Caroline’s shot at happiness. Directed by Tanya Hamilton from a script by Shukree Hassan, episode seven is titled ‘The Next Time I Hurt Somebody, It Could Be You” and features guest stars Joel Gretsch, Wole Parks, and Nathalie Kelley.
The cast of season eight (the show’s final season) includes Paul Wesley as Stefan, Ian Somerhalder as Damon, Kat Graham as Bonnie, Michael Malarkey as Enzo, Candice King as Caroline, and Matt Davis as Alaric.
‘The Next Time I Hurt Somebody, It Could Be You’ Plot: THE DEVIL FROM CHRISTMAS PAST — Faced with the fallout from his interaction with Cade (Parks), Stefan (Wesley) is determined to have one thing go right – Christmas Eve with Caroline. However, when Damon (Somerhalder) and Sybil (Kelley) crash their Christmas Eve dinner, which had been joined by Alaric (Davis), Matt (Zach Roerig) and Peter (Gretsch), things quickly take a dark and twisted turn. Meanwhile, in a series of flashbacks to Stefan’s past, Cade’s attempt to entice him with his mysterious agenda leaves Stefan faced with an unimaginable decision.
