Stephen Merchant will be sending his HBO comedy series Hello Ladies off with a special 80 minute movie titled, appropriately enough, Hello Ladies: The Movie. HBO will debut the series finale on November 22, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT starring Merchant, Christine Woods, Nate Torrence, Kevin Weisman, Kyle Mooney, Sean Wing, and Christa Flanagan.

The eight episode comedy series debuted in 2013 and found Merchant playing a gawky Brit named Stuart who moves to LA hoping to make a romantic connection. The series was written, directed, and executive produced by Merchant. Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg co-wrote the show and also executive produced the half-hour comedy.

The Plot: “When Stuart learns that his British ex-girlfriend is planning to visit Los Angeles with her husband, he sets out to impress them with his glamorous lifestyle, enlisting a Russian model he’s just met to play the role of his beautiful girlfriend. What could go wrong?”
