Taylor Swift Will Perform on the American Music Awards

She’s everywhere, isn’t she? Taylor Swift’s added another gig to her crowded schedule, signing up to perform on the 2014 American Music Awards hosted by Pitbull and airing live on November 23rd at 8pm ET (tape delayed on the West Coast). According to dick clark productions and ABC, Swift will be singing “Blank Space,” marking the world premiere live performance of the single.

In addition to Swift, confirmed artists include 5 Seconds of Summer, Iggy Azalea, Mary J. Blige, Charli XCX, Fergie, Lorde, One Direction, Sam Smith, and Pitbull.

The seven time Grammy winner recently released “Shake It Off,” the fifth single off of 1989. That single topped the iTunes charts in 89 countries on the day of its debut and has already been downloaded over two million times, earning it double Platinum status.

The American Music Awards honor artists in the Pop/Rock, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, Alternative Rock, Adult Contemporary, Latin, Contemporary Inspirational, and Electronic Dance Music genres. The nominees were determined by fan interactions in Billboard Magazine and on Billboard.com, and the winners will be determined by online voting by fans.
