Outlander stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe gave fans of the series based on Diana Gabaldon’s bestselling books a treat by announcing a special sneak peek at season one’s ninth episode. Heughan and Balfe teamed up to reveal Starz is planning on showing the opening scene from the ninth episode of the critically acclaimed (and award-winning) series on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT. The clip will show immediately before the second season premiere of Black Sails.
In other Outlander news, Starz announced Outlander Season 1 Volume 1 will arrive on Blu-ray and DVD on March 3rd following its release on Digital HD on February 9th. The Outlander set will contain all eight episodes from the first half of season one, and the Limited Edition Collector’s Edition will also include a special 32-page book introduced by Gabaldon and including script excerpts and photographs.
