Sony Pictures is kicking off 2016 with the release of the sci-fi thriller The 5th Wave on January 22nd. In support of the upcoming theatrical release, the studio’s unveiled a new minute-long trailer for The 5th Wave titled ‘I Will Be Ready’ featuring “Alive” by SIA. The film’s also debuted a new clip with Chloe Grace Moretz as Cassie and Alex Roe as Evan discussing why Evan saved and Cassie and what their plans are for the immediate future. The cast also includes Ron Livingston, Maggie Siff, Nick Robinson, Maika Monroe, Zackary Arthur, and Liev Schreiber.
The Plot:
Four waves of increasingly deadly attacks have left most of Earth decimated. Against a backdrop of fear and distrust, Cassie (Chloë Grace Moretz) is on the run, desperately trying to save her younger brother. As she prepares for the inevitable and lethal 5th wave, Cassie teams up with a young man who may become her final hope – if she can only trust him.
