6 Underground New Trailer Debuts Starring Ryan Reynolds

Netflix’ new trailer for 6 Underground is completely bonkers and, as one of the commenters on Youtube describes it, this film appears to be the “most Michael Bayish Michael Bay movie ever made.” Action-packed but lacking any actual plot details, the trailer nevertheless succeeds in grabbing our attention because it’s just so crazy. (And because it places Ryan Reynolds front and center in the action.)

Joining Ryan Reynolds in the chaos are Dave Franco, Mélanie Laurent, Corey Hawkins, and Adria Arjona. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Ben Hardy, Lior Raz, and Payman Maadi also star.

Michael Bay (the Transformers film franchise) directed from a screenplay by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. Ian Bryce, Michael Bay, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger produced, with Matthew Cohan executive producing.

Netflix has set a December 13, 2019 premiere on the streaming service.

The Plot, Courtesy of Netflix:

What’s the best part of being dead? It isn’t escaping your boss, your ex, or even erasing your criminal record. The best part about being dead…is the freedom. The freedom to fight the injustice and evil that lurk in our world without anyone or anything to slow you down or tell you “no.”

6 Underground introduces a new kind of action hero. Six individuals from all around the globe, each the very best at what they do, have been chosen not only for their skill, but for a unique desire to delete their pasts to change the future. The team is brought together by an enigmatic leader (Reynolds), whose sole mission in life is to ensure that, while he and his fellow operatives will never be remembered, their actions damn sure will.
